Stock: Finding art
When I'm out and about and with camera, I always try to keep a lookout for what I like to call "wall art". These are shots that may not necessarily have any real contextual value, or are of a generic or unidentifiable nature. I'm not trying to get into fine art frame sales really, but to have a stock of images to pull from can be invaluable for a project. Just like I never know when I'll find that image, I'll never know when I have a use for it either. Sometimes, opportunity meets availability and I get this stunner of the US Capitol Building.
Mostly I get nature shots, or textures, backgrounds, silhouettes that can make for easy cut outs to embellish another image.
